In a very simple explanation Value on Court (VOC) stats show the overall effect of each player while they are in the game, based on the score differential of when the player enters & exits the game. We understand that these are not the only measure of a players worth during a game, but rather just another stat that we can use to evaluate our players. They are unlike any other stat you will find in a traditional box-score, and they are also a metric that Coach Crean uses to evaluate players.
