It’s a holiday edition of the Bracket Racket! With no pressing issues or special guests, we plow through two hours of analysis and commentary on this season of college basketball. We talk about the implications of Florida’s loss to Kansas State, Ohio State’s loss to Kansas, and whether South Dakota State has any at-large chances. Some time is spent talking about scheduling practices in Division I and what they mean for teams’ preparation for the tournament. We also talk about the rank putridity of the SEC in light of this past weekend’s action. There’s also a segment where we look at some of the at-large candidates from the Pac 12, Big Ten, and ACC, and try to figure out who has to do what to even get into contention for an at large berth (hint: Kentucky and North Carolina have some work to do). We also take a look ahead to the upcoming week of games, including several juicy morsels on the slate for next weekend. It’s the last week before conference play starts in earnest, so it’s time to get your serious basketball watching habits going.
Join us live each Sunday night from 9 – 11 pm for the Bracket Racket. And be sure to keep coming back to CrimsonCast and HoopsHD for your latest in college basketball analysis!
