On this first official podcast episode of the 2013-14 IU sports season, Galen is joined by IUSportCom co-managing editor and IU volleyball announcer Jimmy Cavanaugh. We talked a lot about our shared optimism for the looming IU football season, starting with the remarkable change of culture that the program has experienced over the past three years. We also talk about the remarkable depth of the offense, who we each expect to see under center as the starting QB, and whether or not this IU offense is actually the best in the entire conference. The defense is discussed at some length as well, mostly in terms of how much improvement we expect to see, and how much improvement is necessary for a winning season to be a reality.
