It’s that exciting time of year again — Yes, March Madness is finally upon us. Sadly, Indiana will not partake in the insanity a year after earning a No. 1 seed. In my final addition of the IUBB midweek report (yes, I retitled it for my own purposes), I talk about Indiana’s decision to not play in the CBI and give you my thoughts on the season as a whole.
After that, you’ll hear my interview with Jordan Littman of Inside the Hall. We discuss the mood in Bloomington surrounding the program, Tom Crean’s twitter adventures earlier in the week, what next year’s team might look like and our early thoughts on IU’s non-conference schedule for next season. We even give you our final four predictions and Cinderella teams, because we’re obviously a much better bet than people who study brackets for a living.
Following the interview, I delve into Tom Crean’s ridiculous contract and the awful, dumb buyout clause Fred Glass agreed to, hand out my IUBB postseason awards (MVP, freshman of the year, most improved, etc), give you my thoughts on next year’s team and for a change, leave you with some positive thoughts on IU athletics.
