On this episode of CrimsonCast, we once again take to the video airwaves to answer your questions and talk about your thoughts regarding both IU basketball and IU football. On the roundball front, we spend some time talking about the surprise James Blackmon commitment, the current recruiting situation, and the oversign possibilities into next year. We also give our general preview of this upcoming season, and talk about what we saw in the preseason game and how those pieces will fit together on the court, including the improvement of Yogi Ferrell and the importance of Jeremy Hollowell.
For football, we look at the overall situation with IU’s defensive squad and what it will take to have a successful season. The importance of these two upcoming games are talked about at length, as are the defensive shortcomings of the team and how they compare with some of Minnesota’s other opponents this season. We also look at Minnesota from a 40,000 foot perspective, and talk about the mentality of that team coming into Memorial Stadium this weekend.
